Early Life and Education
Zhiming Chen was born in Jixi, China in 1994. She developed an early interest in comics, which led her to pursue studies in drama and film at Fujian Normal University, where she obtained a doctor’s degree in Drama and Film Studies. During her academic years, Chen focused on digital comic research, setting the foundation for her future career.

- "Fall in Love with a Big Sly": This comic tells the story of a kind-hearted protagonist who, after accidentally traveling back in time to ancient China, becomes a painter in the imperial palace and gets entangled in royal power struggles.
- "Analysis of Anime Works: A Multimodal Perspective": Co-edited by Chen, this forthcoming book is a comprehensive guide for media professionals, examining the interplay between anime content and media technology. The book is set to be published in 2025.
